another purse

the pic doesn't do it justice

I am so excited that I finally made this bag. This was my first project using an actual pattern. The rest of my stuff I just made up. So, I have been reading the directions for this purse for about four months, and I am not over exaggerating! I am such a visual learner that reading directions is extremely hard for me. And how unfortunate since reading directions is such a major part of sewing. But, all in all, the bag turned out, and I am very pleased! (The pictures don’t do it justice).

Also, it’s been so great getting to know so many of the people that read my mother in-law’s blog. Many of you have left such sweet comments. If I wasn’t able to get back to you I’m sorry. But I’ve been having a blast looking at all your blogs and you fun projects!

I was reading simple sparrow, and just found out you started a blog and opened an ETSY shop with Miss Hannah. Well, I had to pop right over and say HI and welcome you to the "neighborhood". Do you remember me? We met last fall in Vancouver (I'm Grace's mom). You are so lucky to have married into such a lovely family and to have a MIL like Toni. She's the sweetest! Good Luck on your new endevours and projects!! xo

I just wanted to stop in and say hello, and "welcome to Georgia!" I've been reading your mother-in-law's blog for quite a while to get crafting ideas, and I'm very impressed with what you've accomplished so far. Great work! P.S. I'm also a huge Ikea fan. (:
