I don't have an etsy shop...but I would urge you to hang in therea bit longer, it takes so long for things to catch on. Unless it is costing you money and is a drain...I don't know enough about etsy. I think I am one of the ones whose blog you can't get to. I am trying to remedy that...I am new to blogging, my name has worked in some cases, I don't get it. If you would like to, you can type my name in at the top of the google screen: www.kathekramer.com for now that should bring you to my little site. Mostly I just wanted to leave you an encouraging message...you are so creative and upbeat I just love what you do and write. I have children older than you yet I can relate to what you are doing, keep it up! Leaving a comment on my blog is weird. You have to click on the title over the photo to get a place to leave a comment, I hope you do.

I would at least leave your items up until they expire, rather than just close it down completely. I wish I could give you more tips, but honestly I have no idea either since I am just starting out my own etsy shop. I just wanted to give you some encouragement though and say that you really do have some lovely things in your shop! (Oh and thank you for the comment about my etsy shop on my blog:)

I don't think you should close down your esty shop. It sometimes takes awhile for it to catch on. Were you looking at it as a form of income? Or just something to do so you can make things and have a way to keep the clutter out? If they aren't selling online you may want to look at local place to sell them for you. I don't know what esty shop charges but if they bill you even though it doesn't sell, I can see why you would want to stop. Things like this take time. My husband and I have been in business for ourselves for 9 years (plus him working full time). It wasn't until 3 years ago we really started to turn a profit. Things like this take time and I wouldn't just stop. If it's something you really do believe in, it will happen! Good luck!
