Remember those embroidered animals I posted a while ago, well… here is the finished project, and I am so happy! My first Quilt! And they best part is, I found it a happy home. It just so happens that my neighbor is having a baby, a baby boy! And the best part is that we have become really good friends. She is so sweet, and I’m so happy to have a friend here in the apartments. And, I can’t wait for her to have here baby. Here are some pictures of the finished project.
Speaking of quilts, I decided that I am going to make a quilt for our bed. My husband loves Asian décor, and I found the best fabrics (which are pictured below). Since I was so pleased with my last quilt I am eager to start this one, but somewhat intimidated by the size. I don’t really know anything about quilting, eighty squares seems so overwhelming! If anyone has some advice I would love it!

oh! the new fabrics for your quilt will look great! don't worry..just one block at a time. i'm sure there must be someone around that you can get help from? since you are making a king size--i would suggest paying someone to do the quilting part. stuffing that thing through your own machine will be challenging!! (to put it politely..hehe) we can talk on the phone..call me :)
