I've been wanting to say
so many of you have left such thoughtful comments, and i wanted to say thank you. but i also wanted to say that some of the links from your comments don't go to your blog, so basically i can't get to your blog. i am very frustrated. but mostly just wanted to sorry i can't make it to some of your blogs! :(
Big Sales in my shop
So I was thinking about closing my etsy shop, but i figured i'd give it one more try. i marked down all my items 25%, so if you have a second take a look and see if anything floats your boat.

Yummy

So the other day I decided that I was tired of burning myself while using a towel to take things out of the oven. I’m really happy with how these turned out. The only sad part was I didn’t have any batting for thickness, so I had to used fabric (I guess I thought it was kinda a waste). But it was worth it. I even decided to bake some cookies so I could use them… hehe… it was a win win situation.

Finally

I am so excited that I finally finished these bags. My mom was so sweet, you see, she helped me pick out all of the fabrics for these bags. I was almost finished when she came out to visit. And to surprise me, she brought me the different purple fabrics to add to make another bag in this collection. I was really excited, except that I thought I was finally finished and could move onto other projects. Anyhow, I’m happy with how they turned out; I know this picture isn’t the best. I am debating about what to do with them. Originally I wanted to sell them, but I’m not too excited about putting them on etsy, since I have yet to sell anything. If you have any ideas what to do with them, let me know.

The Aquarium
I recently visited the Atlanta Aquarium, (which happens to be the largest aquarium in the world) and I was actually really disappointed. I heard great things about it, and all their animals were absolutely beautiful, but I just felt that for the largest aquarium in the world, they didn’t give their animals enough space. It was so awesome to see the Beluga whales, but it really broke my heart. I mean, I’m not a crazy animal’s right’s person or anything, but these whales were so playful, and they had them in the smallest tank. It was great to get to see them, but something about it just doesn’t seem right. Anyhow, here are a few pics of some of the cool fishies.
Decorating
I am so excited, we got some really fun artwork, and it makes our apartment look so much better. I love the espresso; it’s my new favorite! Believe it or not, we got the pictures from Bed Bath and beyond. They have a ton of cute stuff. Hanging about our table is actually some really awesome fabric my mom gave me for my birthday. I think I love it so much I’m going to frame and just leave it on the wall!

Vinyl (the spelling looks so weird)
We sell a lot of vinyl at the fabric store where I work, and I’ve always wondered what you would use it for, besides covering seats. But we had the cutest vinyl. It’s sort of a western floral tone on tone. Anyways, I bought some (I really think my job is counter-productive to my paycheck), and I wasn’t sure what to do with it. I ended up using it to make a cover for my sewing machine, and it’s great! Because it’s vinyl, it holds the shape really well. I love it. So if you are thinking of making a sewing machine cover, I would highly recommend some vinyl.
Laptop case
I've wanted to make a laptop case forever, and I finally worked up the nerve. I wanted to use a zipper, but I decided that Velcro would work just as well. One of these days I’ll work of the courage to use a zipper. (I bought one at least.) I know you are suppose to take pictures in the natural light, but our apartment really doesn’t get any, so this is the best I could come up with.
